We are currently looking for talented individuals to join us for below role

Legal Counsel

We are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.

1: Work closely with line management, team members and commercial stakeholders, including senior management as necessary, to carry out all tasks and assignments in alignment with corporate policies and procedures.

2: Provide sound and practical legal advice with a commercial mindset. Ability to engage stakeholders in a mature and professional manner.

3: Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, in particular general terms and conditions, work orders, sub-contracts related to technical services, engineering and construction. Handle and advise on deviations to standard agreements as well as first-level support to review and advise on non-standard and complex legal documents.

4: Handle and advise on contractual disputes and claims, manage disputes to avoid or prevent litigation, manage litigation, mediation and arbitration by working closely with appointed external counsels including preparation of reports and updates, as necessary.

5: Stay updated on recent developments in pertinent legal areas and assist to enhance the legal department's knowledge base.
