About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Assistant / Optician / Optometrist to join our team at C MORE OPTOMETRY' in the Malim Jaya Melaka area. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality eye care solutions to our valued clients.

FOR OPTOMETRIST & OPTICIAN , SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE . STARTING FROM RM 3XXX AND ABOVE .

WILL HAVE COMMISSION . DEPENDING ON SALES.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, guiding them through the selection of eyewear and ensuring a positive shopping experience
  • Conducting comprehensive eye examinations, including vision testing, assessing eye health, and prescribing corrective lenses as needed
  • Fitting and adjusting eyeglasses and contact lenses to ensure optimal comfort and vision for patients
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and following up on customer inquiries and concerns
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and advancements in eye care technology

What we're looking for

  • A relevant qualification in Optometry or Optical Dispensing, with a valid license to practice in Malaysia
  • Previous experience in a similar role, either as a Sales Assistant, Optician or Optometrist, is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide a personalized and professional experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and advise customers
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
  • A team-oriented approach and the willingness to collaborate with colleagues
  • Proficiency in Mandarin , English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
