Company Background:
A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting principles.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate entries.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and address discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support audit preparation and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure tax filings are accurate and timely, liaising with tax authorities when needed.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
  • Support management in financial analysis and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of senior or supervisory accounting experience.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Strong understanding of audit procedures, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin, essential for communication with Chinese institutions.
