About the role

As a Bellman at Attic Group, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming experience for our guests. This full-time position is based in Melaka, where you will be responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, providing concierge services, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the hotel's front-of-house activities.

What you'll be doing

• Welcome guests politely upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage — loading, unloading, and delivering to rooms.
• Guide guests to their rooms and explain basic room features (key card, lights, aircon, etc.).
• Handle guest requests for luggage storage or delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the lobby and entrance area.
• Assist in arranging transportation or calling a Grab/taxi for guests.
• Support the Front Desk during check-in and check-out times.
• Deliver messages, parcels, or amenities to guest rooms.

• Report any guest complaints, lost items, or incidents to the Duty Manager/Front Office.

• Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry, preferably as a Bellman or similar position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle guest requests and concerns efficiently
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle luggage and maintain the hotel's public areas
• Knowledge of the local area and ability to provide recommendations on attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in other languages (Malay, Mandarin) preferred
