Channel Marketing Manager – APAC

Location: Malaysia

Position Summary

We are seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to lead partner engagement and drive product sell-out across distributors, resellers, and retailers. This role will design and execute strategic channel programs, manage MDF investments, and deliver impactful marketing initiatives that maximize ROI and strengthen our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sell-out from distributors to resellers, retailers, and system integrators (SIs).
  • Lead development and management of channel programs: bundles, incentives, MDF promotions, shop-in-shop, training, and toolkits.
  • Execute partner-facing campaigns and retail activations to enhance brand visibility and conversion.
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs: sell-out volume, program participation, MDF ROI, and partner adoption.
  • Manage MDF budget with ROI accountability.
  • Build and maintain senior-level partner relationships to ensure program success.
  • Provide channel insights to Sales and Product Marketing teams to optimize go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales on distributor reorder planning and execution.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Distributor sell-out volume.
  • Program participation rate.
  • MDF ROI.
  • Distributor reorder rate (joint KPI with Sales).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in channel marketing, trade marketing, or partner marketing (preferably in consumer electronics, IT hardware, or similar industries).
  • Proven track record in managing MDF budgets, ROI measurement, and retail/channel activations.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects or small teams is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of distributor/reseller ecosystems and retail execution.
  • Data-driven with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English (Mandarin or other regional languages is a plus).
  • Mindset: Strategic, partner-oriented, KPI-driven, collaborative with global/regional teams.
