Job Summary

The Head of Group Human Resource & Administration is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all HR and administrative functions across the Group of Companies.

This includes formulating group-level HR strategies, policies, and frameworks that align with the organization's overall objectives, while ensuring consistent execution at subsidiary levels. The role also oversees office administration, compliance, and organizational development to support the Group's growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. HR Strategy & Governance

  2. Develop and execute Group-wide HR strategies and policies that support business goals and promote synergy across all subsidiaries.

  3. Establish a standardized HR framework covering recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee development for all entities under the Group.
  4. Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, regulations, and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp, LHDN, etc.).
  5. Lead HR integration, restructuring, and harmonization efforts when new subsidiaries or business units are acquired.

  6. Talent Management & Development

  7. Drive strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition across the Group to meet current and future business needs.

  8. Implement Group-wide training and development programs, including leadership development and succession planning.
  9. Oversee performance management systems to ensure consistency in evaluation, rewards, and career progression.
  10. Build a strong employer brand to attract and retain top talent across industries.

  12. Design and review competitive salary structures, incentive schemes, and benefits programs for Group and subsidiary levels.

  13. Monitor HR budget, payroll compliance, and manpower cost efficiency.
  14. Conduct regular benchmarking and ensure internal equity across entities.

  15. Employee Relations & Culture

  16. Foster a strong corporate culture that aligns with the Group's mission and values.

  17. Provide guidance and oversight to HR teams at subsidiary levels on disciplinary actions, grievances, and employee engagement initiatives.
  18. Promote open communication channels and maintain harmonious industrial relations with employees and authorities.

  19. Administration & Corporate Services

  20. Oversee all administrative functions at Group level, including office facilities, procurement, asset management, company vehicles, insurance, and licensing.

  21. Ensure efficient coordination of administrative support among subsidiaries.
  22. Manage renewal of statutory licenses, tenancy agreements, and company registrations.

  23. Leadership & Management

  24. Lead and mentor the HR & Admin teams at both Group and subsidiary levels to ensure high performance and service delivery.

  25. Collaborate with other department heads and senior management to support strategic business decisions.
  26. Report HR and administrative performance indicators, workforce analytics, and recommendations to the Group Board/CEO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or Group-level HR leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing HR across multiple subsidiaries or diversified business units.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labour laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a hands-on approach.
  • Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office tools.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM10, RM15,000.00 per month
