Responsibilities

  • Experienced in the jetty projects;
  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of construction on-site
  • Ensure that construction work is performed according to project plans and specifications
  • Monitor progress of work and maintain construction schedule
  • Manage the use of materials, equipment, and personnel on the job site
  • Perform quality control inspections and resolve any issues that arise during construction
  • Interact with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress and status
  • Ensure that all construction work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans;
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management to ensure projects meet customer's quality standards.

Requirements

  • Will be based at Sandakan;
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering;
  • MUST registered with Board of Engineering (BEM)
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in project management especially in infrastructure projects;
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality within team members, clients, contractors & suppliers;
  • Proven leadership as the lead of the project;
  • Excellent in communication and reporting;
  • Strong technical knowledge, coordination and interpersonal skill.
  • Able to work in fast pace environment and handle tied deadlines and to deliver on time;
  • Required skill(s): MS Project, MS Office, AutoCAD, Monthly Report, good knowledge in both written and spoken in Bahasa Malaysia and English;
  • Available to start work immediately will be advantage.
