Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all accounting transactions are properly recorded and comply with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other regulatory authorities when required.
  • Assist in cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
  • Support management with ad hoc reporting and analysis when required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Auto Count, UBS, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, SST, and statutory compliance.
  • Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
