Compliance and Governance Executive

HQ / Office, with occassional travel to project sites

Job Purpose:

To support the Corporate Planning Manager in managing the company's ISO and KTMS system, ensuring continuous improvement of procedures, compliance with regulatory requirements, and readiness for audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and updating the KTMS system, ensuring all procedures remain relevant and compliant with ISO and company standards.
  • Coordinate ISO/KTMS audits, including preparation of documentation, evidence, and corrective actions.
  • Review, refine, and document workflows across departments to ensure standardization and compliance.
  • Support training and awareness programs on KTMS procedures for staff and project teams.
  • Monitor implementation of procedures and follow up on compliance issues.
  • Maintain systematic filing and accessibility of procedures for staff reference.
  • Conduct risk identification and recommend procedural improvements to strengthen governance.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Familiarity with ISO standards and management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 preferred).
  • Experience in documentation, compliance, or quality management in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to track, analyze, and report on compliance matters.
  • Good language skills in English and Malay
  • Prefer to have experience in construction / contractor companies
