About the role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team at FirstWork Construction Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company in Jerantut District, Pahang. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to provide regular updates and address concerns
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Manage and optimise the use of resources, including materials, equipment and labour, to maximise productivity
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the construction crew
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in project management and scheduling
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Commitment to upholding health and safety standards
- Certification in construction supervision or a related field would be an advantage
