Job Summary:

The Process Engineer is responsible for operating and monitoring gel fill and encapsulation production processes, including gel coat application, material dispensing, and Front of Line (FOL) activities. The role ensures consistent material coverage, precision in dispensing, and supports overall line operations while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor gel fill and encapsulation processes with precision and consistency.
  • Ensure accurate gel coat coverage on products as per specifications.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain automated material dispensing equipment to deliver correct volumes.
  • Conduct visual and automated optical inspections (AOI) to detect defects or anomalies.
  • Support FOL processes including initial equipment setup, material loading, and line startup checks.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and make parameter adjustments as needed.
  • Document process conditions and ensure proper traceability of production data.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company SOPs.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure line efficiency and product integrity.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for better productivity and yield.

Education Qualification:

Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

Job Requirement:

  • Experience:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Experience in gel coat application, material dispensing systems, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), and FOL (Front of Line) processes is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Skilled in gel coat spraying and surface preparation techniques.

  • Proficient in operating automated dispensing machines and adjusting process parameters.
  • Basic knowledge of quality control and defect analysis.

  • Process Knowledge:

  • Understanding of gel fill/encapsulation processes, material handling, and FOL operations.

  • Familiarity with production equipment, reading work instructions, and following SOPs.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.

  • Others:

  • Willing to work in a cleanroom or production environment.

  • Committed to maintaining safety, quality, and continuous improvement practices.
