Warehouse Storekeeper

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storekeeper to join our dynamic team at Twin Arrow (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of warehousing and logistics services in Bintulu, Sarawak. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the efficient management and organisation of our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials.

What you'll be doing

1. Receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording the arrival of all incoming goods and materials
2. Organising and maintaining the warehouse layout to optimise storage and retrieval processes
3. Monitoring and controlling inventory levels, ensuring stock is accurately tracked and reported
4. Coordinating the picking, packing, and dispatch of orders to meet customer requirements
5. Conducting regular stock audits and implementing effective inventory control measures
6. Liaising with other departments and external stakeholders to address any discrepancies or issues
7. Providing training and guidance to warehouse assistants to maintain high standards of performance
8. Ensuring the warehouse adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
9. Ad Hoc Job by management from time to time.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Warehouse Storekeeper or in a similar role within a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment
2. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a keen eye for inventory management
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
5. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software
6. Basic understanding of applicable health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
7. A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
