Assistant Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for local and foreign workers.
- Liaise with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and job scopes.
- Manage job postings, candidate screening, interview arrangements, and onboarding.
- Prepare bilingual offer letters, contracts, and recruitment documentation.
- Maintain updated manpower planning and recruitment tracking reports.
Payroll
- Assist in monthly payroll processing and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Verify attendance, overtime, and leave records for payroll input.
- Handle payroll queries and coordinate with Finance for reconciliation.
- Ensure payroll documentation is audit-ready and confidential.
Industrial Relations (IR)
- Support disciplinary procedures, warning letters, and domestic inquiries.
- Maintain records of misconduct cases and IR documentation.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and legal advisors when required.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and collective agreements.
Employee Relations (ER)
- Assist in employee engagement programs, welfare initiatives, and feedback channels.
- Support resolution of grievances and promote positive workplace culture.
- Organize staff events, recognition programs, and communication activities.
- Monitor employee morale and escalate concerns to HR Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws, foreign worker regulations, and IR procedures.
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR systems.
- Bilingual in English and Malay (Chinese is an advantage).
