Job Description

Equipment Team Lead

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, including task assignment, performance management, and skill development.
  • Responsible for departmental cost control, including budget planning, expense tracking, and resource optimization.
  • Oversee daily maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of production equipment; manage spare parts inventory and procurement coordination.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive documentation system, including technical files, maintenance logs, standard procedures, and version-controlled archives.
  • Organize and lead equipment and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, yield, and operational safety.
  • Conduct technical and safety training for frontline operators to improve operational capability and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Equipment Engineer

  • Debugging PACK production line equipment and preparing departmental budget.
  • Establishing and improving equipment management and maintenance systems, ensuring the formation, accumulation, organization, and archiving of technical documentation for the equipment.
  • Assisting procurement in completing the purchasing of spare parts based on actual site conditions and establishing a safety stock.
  • Responsible for the maintenance management of PACK production line equipment, including daily maintenance, lubrication checks, and spare parts management.
  • Operation, maintenance, debugging, and troubleshooting of automation equipment and automated production lines.
  • Management of production equipment.
  • Daily maintenance and upkeep of PACK production line equipment, handling exceptions, and repairs.
  • Any other ad-hoc job tasks as assigned by immediate superior.
Requirements:
  • Possess at least Bachelor's Degree and above in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3-7 years of working experience in Equipment Engineering. Hands-on experience with manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Preferable candidates with more than 1 year of working experience in lithium battery or automotive equipment maintenance and management.
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin, English & Malay language.

- Familiar with the working principles and production processes of equipment in the lithium battery or automotive industry, experienced in debugging robots such as KUKA, ABB, FANUC, familiar with TPM and knowledgeable about the selection and use of conventional mechanical and electrical components.
- Strong knowledge in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Clear logical thinking, strong ability to report job tasks to immediate superior and good skills in communication with higher management and subordinates management.
- Willing to work at our new manufacturing plant which located in Karangan, Kedah at Q4 2025.
