About the Role

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join the Overseas IT Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, customization, and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform to ensure it operates efficiently and aligns with evolving business needs. This position plays a key role in driving automation, optimizing IT workflows, and elevating the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Administration & Optimization

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize the ServiceNow platform to ensure stability, scalability, and performance.
  • Oversee platform upgrades, patches, and version control to ensure system compliance and integrity.
  • Monitor platform health and implement proactive performance tuning.

2. Configuration & Custom Development

  • Customize and configure ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog) based on organizational needs.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, UI policies, and business rules to support automation and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

3. Support & User Enablement

  • Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance for ServiceNow users.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Conduct user training sessions to enhance adoption and usage.

4. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to enhance system capabilities and streamline IT processes.
  • Recommend and implement platform enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in ServiceNow administration or development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideRecord, and other ServiceNow scripting tools.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow architecture, data model, and API integrations.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience implementing ITSM frameworks.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications or systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality results.
