Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Needs Educator located in Petaling Jaya. The Special Needs Educator will work with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder, designing and implementing individualized education plans to support their learning and development. Responsibilities include fostering holistic growth through play-based and structured learning activities, improving communication and motor skills, and helping children prepare for admission into mainstream educational environments. The role also requires close collaboration with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure tailored support for each child.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Special Education and Teaching, with experience supporting children with disabilities.
  • Solid understanding of communication development and techniques to enhance interaction with children with special needs.
  • Familiarity with education levels such as Middle School and earlier stages of learning, with the ability to adapt curricula accordingly.
  • Passion for working with children with diverse learning needs, showcasing patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusion.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related fields are an advantage.
