About the Role:

Jayspire Global Line is looking for a motivated, result-driven Senior Sales Executive / Sales Executive to join their growing team in the freight forwarding and NVOCC sector.

Requirements:

  • College / University degree / Diploma or equivalent qualifications with a minimum of 2-3 years of marketing experience in the forwarding or logistics industry, preferably with good contacts with airlines and shipping lines.

  • Mature, self-motivated, proactive, aggressive, and result-oriented.

  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with good communication skills.

  • Ability to write and converse well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

  • Good general knowledge and some basic knowledge of customs procedures and international business.

  • Pleasant personality and own transport.

Responsibilities:

  • Secure new customers, service existing customers, attend to customer requests & ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Develop new customers and expand the company's customer base.

  • Prepare quotations for seafreight, trucking, also full total logistics and etc., and follow up closely with customers.

  • Handle inquiries assigned by the company.

  • Ensure customer payments are on time.- Send sales leads to overseas group offices and agents to generate additional business overseas.

  • Secure R/O-Import and prepare S/I for all nominated inbound shipments.

  • Correspond and communicate with overseas group offices and agents via email, telephone, and fax regarding sales inquiries and shipment status.

  • Negotiate rates with airlines, shipping lines, co-loaders, and NVOCC.

  • Coordinate and provide seamless information feedback to/from customer service and operations staff on special arrangements to ensure smooth service.

  • Follow up on and secure debtor payments & Submit.

  • Prepare sales reports and profiles for every new prospective customer visited, submit monthly sales reports.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Batu Kawan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
