Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow business within the oil & gas sector.
  • Identify new business leads and opportunities with contractors, EPC companies, and end-users in upstream, midstream, and downstream segments.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Meet sales targets and drive revenue growth in assigned territories and market segments.

Client Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
  • Provide product consultation and support to clients based on industry needs.
  • Monitor customer feedback and coordinate solutions with internal departments (technical & after-sales teams).

Market Research & Strategy

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market opportunities.
  • Develop sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for management review.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to build brand presence.

Product Knowledge & Support

  • Understand Makita's product range, features, and applications relevant to the oil & gas sector.
  • Work closely with product specialists and technical teams to support solution proposals.
  • Provide product training to customers when required.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • Knowledge or certification in oil & gas industry is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in oil & gas or industrial equipment/tools industry.
  • Experience selling industrial tools, equipment, or technical solutions preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of oil & gas sector operations and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business sense and proactive approach.
  • Able to travel and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
