Finance Executive – Costing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-

1.    Analyze manufacturing and inventory cost variances (material, labor, overhead).

2.    Perform product costing setup, including yield and by-product accounting.

3.    Prepare monthly cost reports and conduct variance analysis vs budget/forecast.

4.    Monitor and reconcile inventory movement (raw, WIP, finished goods).

5.    Perform monthly stock count and variance reporting (cold storage & production).

6.    Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to operations.

7.    Liaise with procurement and production for accurate and standard costs.

8.    Assist in month-end closing activities, journal entries, and reporting.

9.    Ensure compliance with internal controls, and support audit processes.

10.    Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in costing systems.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED: -

1.    Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent (CIMA/ACCA is an advantage).

years' experience in costing, preferably in seafood, food processing, or FMCG.

3.    Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures.

4.    Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

5.    Excellent Excel and analytical skills.

6.    Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.

7.    Experience with frozen inventory or cold chain stock management is a plus.
