Job Description
Program, debug, and fine-tune AOI systems to accurately detect PCB defects, ensuring optimal inspection performance.
Analyze AOI inspection data to optimize detection algorithms, aiming to minimize false calls and escapes.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of AOI machines to ensure consistent operation.
Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or related field preferred.
Proven experience with AOI programming, debugging, and fine-tuning inspection parameters.
Familiarity with IPC standards, especially IPC-A-610 for solder joint acceptability.
Knowledge of electronic components, polarity markings, and common defects such as solder bridges, tombstoning, and missing components.
Ability to analyze AOI inspection data and optimize detection algorithms to minimize false calls and escapes.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
