Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Country Manager. The Country Manager will oversee and manage operations within their assigned region, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of NextStars. Key responsibilities include developing partnerships, identifying and supporting climate-conscious startups, overseeing projects, and ensuring compliance with the organization's objectives. The role also involves representing NextStars within the assigned country, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and identifying local market opportunities to further the accelerator's mission.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and strategic management skills, with the ability to oversee regional operations and teams
  • Partnership development and relationship management expertise, including experience engaging with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge in business planning and market analysis to identify and support local startup opportunities
  • Experience in supporting climate-conscious or environmentally focused ventures preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective representation and networking
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing tasks and ensuring timely deliverables
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; knowledge of the startup ecosystem considered an asset
  • Previous experience in accelerator programs, entrepreneurial environments, or project management is highly beneficial
