About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Food & Beverage Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Rising Fan – Leader in Training (F&B) will rotate through various outlets and F&B admin where customer service is of high priority and under the supervision of the Director of Food & Beverage. The Rising Fan – Leader in Training (F&B) reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.

As Rising Fan – Leader in Training (F&B), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conducts daily briefing as per hotel standards covering the points highlighted in the morning F&B briefing
• Assists in making comprehensive debrief for promotions and functions
• Assists to prepare effective duty roster to ensure sufficiency of manpower in accordance with volume of business
• Assist to maintain open communications between administration, service and kitchen
• Communicates effectively with guests, subordinates, immediate superior and other colleagues both verbally and in writing as per company standards

As Rising Fan – Leader in Training (F&B), we expect from you:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management
• Minimum 3 – 6 months' internship experience in Food & Beverage
• Good computer knowledge and typing skills
