Job Purpose

The Production Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes for automotive electronic components and systems. This role ensures high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient production while meeting all safety, quality, and customer requirements. The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams including design, quality, maintenance, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities :-

Process Development & Optimization-Design, implement, and validate manufacturing processes for electronic modules, PCBs, sensors, ECUs, and related automotive components.

-Analyze process capability, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

-Develop and update process documentation (PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions, Process Flow Diagrams).

Production Support

-Provide technical support to production lines to resolve process issues and minimize downtime.

-Ensure process stability through statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis of failures.

-Maintain equipment calibration and ensure adherence to process parameters.

Quality & Compliance

-Collaborate with the Quality team to address nonconformities, customer complaints, and audit findings.-Support PPAP, APQP, and other automotive quality system requirements (IATF

-Ensure compliance with ESD, ISO, and environmental regulations.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

-Participate in design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) reviews together with Process Enginner.

-Support pilot runs, capability studies, and process validation for new products.

Continuous Improvement

-Lead or participate in Kaizen, cost-reduction, and yield improvement initiatives.

-Implement automation and digital manufacturing solutions to improve productivity and consistency.

-Drive implementation of Industry 4.0 principles where applicable.

Job Requirements :-

-Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

-2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the automotive electronics or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry.

-Hands-on experience with PCB assembly (SMT, Through-hole), wire harnessing, or ECU assembly preferred.

-Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes (soldering, reflow, conformal coating, potting, testing).

-Familiarity with CAD tools, PLCs, automation systems, and MES software.-Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and 8D methodologies.

-Experience with automotive standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001)

-Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

-Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.

-Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
