About the Role:

The ViewPoint Business Analyst provides operational support and coordinates the implementation and deliver of business solutions.

The ViewPoint Business Analyst works closely with staff throughout the global offices to provide guidance and training on the use of ViewPoint system functionality troubleshoot and resolve system issues and collate the requirements for any ViewPoint-related projects to be implemented.

The ViewPoint Business Analyst will occasionally design and build custom applications needed to securely move or process data in order to improve or enhance ViewPoint functionality.

Job Responsibilities:


• Work with the Lead Developer to identify ViewPoint-related projects that need to be implemented.


• Understand the requirements for each identified project and be able to document and articulate those requirements to the relevant cross-functional team members needed to deliver each project.


• Take the lead on project implementation and coordinate with relevant cross-functional team members to realize project delivery.


• Participate in the quality assurance processes and testing strategies within the context of the identified projects.


• Provide a first line and second line of support for any Fiduciary queries pertaining to ViewPoint system usage.


• Effectively analyse, troubleshoot and resolve operational queries raised by members of the Fiduciary team.


• Work with ViewPoint Service Providers to escalate any system issues that cannot be resolved in-house.


• Apply configurations and updates to the various ViewPoint databases, when required.


• Perform periodic reviews of the various ViewPoint databases to identify data clean-up requirements and coordinate with relevant Fiduciary team members to implement clean-up.


• Design, distribute and monitor ViewPoint exception reports.


• Write and maintain code – following coding standards and best practices


• Debug and troubleshoot – identify, report and resolve bugs or technical issues. Use debugging tools and logs to find the root cause of problems in any custom build applications.


• Work as part of a larger team – assist in implementing features based on specifications from Business Analysts and Project Managers as well as project sponsors.


• Participate in team meetings – attend weekly team meetings, share progress, blockers and ideas with the team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in Computer Science or Similar and a minimum of 2 years experience

The ViewPoint Business Analyst will require the following technical skills:


• Strong T-SQL skills


• Knowledge of building and maintaining applications written in C#


• Knowledge of building and maintaining front end applications using React


• Ability to effectively deliver projects.


• Good verbal and written communication skills.


• Good interpersonal skills.


• Understand the importance of data privacy and security.
