Our client E-Cast Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Ensure Quality: Handle customer complaints and provide support on product and quality issues.
  • Analyze Feedback: Study customer feedback to drive improvement activities.
  • Monitor Sampling: Oversee sampling activities to minimize delivery problems.
  • Maintain Records: Complete daily paperwork and records for incoming and outgoing sections.
  • Manage CARs: Monitor and ensure timely closure of customer, internal, and sub-contractor CARs.
  • Supplier Development: Improve and develop supplier and sub-contractor relationships based on the CAR system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct activities with Production and QC to enhance processes.
  • Prepare CPK: Ensure CPK for casting and machining processes is prepared monthly.
  • Complete Documentation: Ensure all APQP and PPAP activities and documentations are completed.
  • Conduct Audits: Arrange for Supplier Quality Management System Audits.
  • Promote Awareness: Ensure customer requirements are promoted throughout the organization.
Who are they looking for?
  • Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in production/engineering/QA within a manufacturing environment.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • Core Tools Knowledge: Knowledge in 5 core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Words.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong skills to efficiently resolve quality issues.
