We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the growth of our Capsule Division and strengthen Capromax's market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1.Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities for capsule products (empty hard gelatin and HPMC) in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and herbal industries.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve targets, and collaborate with internal teams (technical, logistics, regulatory, procurement) to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

2. Customer Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for existing and new customers.
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and excellent service.
  • Handle all customer inquiries, quotations, and commercial negotiations effectively

3. Forecasting & Planning

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts and order projections.
  • Analyze market trends, customer demand, and inventory flow to guide production and procurement planning.
  • Track sales performance and ensure alignment with budgeted targets.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales reports and recommendations to management.

4. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Collect and analyse market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to strengthen sales strategies.
  • Recommend pricing adjustments, product positioning, or promotional initiatives based on market conditions.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, customer needs, and emerging trends in the capsule and supplement sectors.

5. Innovation & Strategic Contribution

  • Propose innovative ideas to enhance sales performance, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement.
  • Explore potential business collaborations or product expansions to sustain Capromax's competitive advantage.
  • Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies and market expansion plans.

6. Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, pricing databases and sales documentation.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, code of conduct and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical ingredients, herbal and nutraceutical ingredients, or food ingredients.
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to identify market opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Possess a valid driving license and own transport.
