Job Description

  • Review, verify, and process supplier invoices and employee expense claims accurately and promptly.

  • Ensure all invoices are properly recorded, coded, and approved in accordance with company procedures.

  • Prepare and process vendor payments, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and investigate or resolve discrepancies.

  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status, discrepancies, and inquiries.

  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with suppliers, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable activities.

  • File and archive all supporting documentation in compliance with company policy and audit requirements.

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of the accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on any outstanding issues.

  • Ensure all accounts payable processes adhere to company policies and statutory requirements.

  • Support and maintain effective internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure data integrity.

  • Prepare and assist in generating reports related to accounts payable, such as aged payables and cash flow forecasts.

  • Provide supporting documentation and data during internal and external audits.

  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable processes.

  • Assist in the implementation of new procedures, systems, or automation initiatives.

  • Provide general support to the finance team with other accounting functions as required.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Education: SPM, Diploma or Bachelor's degree or above, major in Accounting, Finance and other related majors.

  • Professional experience: 2-3 years of working experience in costing or management accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Proficient in ERP (e.g., SAP) and Excel.

  • Strong communication and coordination ability, planning ability and execution ability; relationship establishment and maintenance capabilities.

  • Language requirement: English - Mandarin & Thai added advantage.

  • Able to work in Padang Besar, Perlis
