The Facility Maintenance & Automation will oversee daily automation operations and its activity by ensuring the efficiencies, quality and productivity across production manufacturing. This role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills and expertise in lean manufacturing to drive operational to excellences and meet customer expectation and perhaps beyond it.

Job Description/Responsibilities: -

  • To be in-charged of Facilities and Machines Automation.
  • To ensure human resources, safety and 5S activities implemented in the department.
  • Responsible for department planning and budget.
  • Prepare monthly report to top management.
  • Coordinate and support others departments pertaining to any renovation / upgrading works.
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance programme for building, utility equipment, electrical switchboxes and related equipment.
  • To identify training needs for subordinates.
  • Liaise with vendor / contractors in quotation, repairing and maintaining of buildings, facility and utility equipment.
  • Any other employee may assign by the management to new holder of this job title and the new holder shall be governed by the above-described duties and responsibilities.
  • Any other duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Job Specification/Requirements: -

  • Possess BSc / Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Automation and Electrical Engineering or equivalent with some knowledgeable in facility and business administration management.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experiences as Maintenance Manager.
  • Possess solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical system and etcetera.
  • Have the applicable knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
  • An excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • An outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • The extra knowledges and or hands on experiences will be an added advantageous.
