Operational Support:

• Assist with the assembly and disassembly of drilling rigs and equipment.
• Handle and connect/disconnect drill pipes and casing.
• Assist in raising and lowering drill strings and casings into boreholes.
• Mix and monitor drilling fluids (mud), including measurements and refilling tanks.
• Clean and maintain drilling equipment and the rig floor (e.g., removing debris, washing down equipment).
• Operate manual and powered tools under supervision (pipe wrenches, tongs, chain tongs, etc.).
• Support directional or geotechnical drilling activities as needed.

Maintenance & Equipment Handling:

• Inspect and report faulty equipment or components to the supervisor.
• Perform minor rig maintenance and assist with equipment lubrication and inspections.
• Safely load, unload, and move drilling materials and tools to and from the site.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all safety procedures and wear assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Participate in regular safety briefings, hazard assessments, and emergency drills.
• Understand and follow safe handling and disposal procedures for hazardous materials (e.g., drilling fluids, fuel).
• Maintain an awareness of surroundings to reduce hazards and prevent incidents.

Documentation & Communication:

• Assist in recording drilling data such as depth measurements, rate of penetration (ROP), and mud readings.
• Communicate clearly with team members and report issues promptly to supervisors.

Pay: RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
