Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Architecture Design & Development: Implement scalable, modular, and secure architectures.
  • Enterprise Alignment: Work closely with Enterprise Architecture to comply with standards and patterns.
  • Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal tech teams, Agile squads, QA, and Operations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation—LLDs, design specifications, configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, architectural diagrams, and UML.
  • Agile Participation: Contribute to sprints and retrospectives; support end-to-end delivery with the team.
  • Technology Evaluation: Assess and select modern tools and technologies to improve customer experience and engineering productivity.
  • Best Practices: Ensure adherence to coding, security, and architecture best practices (e.g., code reviews, OWASP, secure SDLC).
  • Performance & Reliability: Monitor and optimize application performance under high load; identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Leadership: Lead and coordinate offshore/onshore teams; provide technical guidance and mentorship.

To be eligible for this role, you will require:

  • Candidates with experience in the Banking, Payments, or Remittance domains are highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE or .NET Core development.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and enterprise application development.
  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills, including experience with log analysis tools (e.g., ELK/Elastic Stack).
  • Practical experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Experience working with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Skilled in building and consuming APIs – including RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration endpoints.
