Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing and screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Partner with department heads to understand manpower requirements and provide guidance on workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Support payroll administration, ensuring accuracy in monthly salary processing and compliance with statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
  • Maintain and update HR records related to compensation, benefits, leave management, and employee movement.
  • Handle employee relations matters by addressing staff enquiries, managing grievances, and fostering a positive working environment.
  • Plan and organise staff engagement activities and support internal communications to promote a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate and monitor training and development programs, including registration, HRDF submissions, post-training evaluations, and maintenance of training records.
  • Assist in executing the performance appraisal process, including probation reviews for staff confirmation and the annual appraisal exercise.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are in line with current labour laws and company guidelines.
  • Support other ad hoc tasks or HR projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to full-spectrum HR functions.
  • Sound understanding of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage across all levels.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently.
