Role Purpose:

We are looking for a dedicated Site Safety Supervisor on a contract basis to oversee workplace safety across our construction and engineering projects. The contract may be renewed subject to performance and project requirements. This role ensures compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSH Act), risk management, and the enforcement of company safety policies at site level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor site safety activities in line with statutory requirements.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and training for site staff.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, PTW, and risk assessments (HIRARC, HAZOP).
  • Identify hazards and unsafe practices, recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare safety reports, incident reports, and maintain documentation.
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, consultants, and authorities (DOSH, NIOSH).
  • Inspect plant, machinery, and equipment for compliance.
  • Support audits and inspections from clients and regulators.

Requirements:

  • Valid "Penyelia Keselamatan Tapak Bina" (NIOSH) certification.
  • Diploma/Degree in OSH, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in construction, plant, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of safety management systems, statutory requirements, and best practices.
  • Familiar with PTW systems, HIRARC, and emergency response.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
