Account Assistant/Officer

  • Responsible for Account Payables journal booking, invoice processing, Account Payables closing and performing other Account Payables activities.
  • Ensure all payables invoices are processed timely.
  • Ensure accurate posting of payable transactions to accounting system.
  • Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliation, investigate, and follow up to reduce discrepancies.
  • Perform reconciliation on Balance Sheet Account Payables related accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of Audit Schedules, AP /AR Aging and to resolve audit/accounting issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain files and archived documents thoroughly and accurately, based on Company policies and accepted accounting practices.
  • Generate monthly expenses report and perform analysis for cost control purpose.
  • Assist in month end closing and external/internal financial reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payables/accounting related policies and procedures.
  • Assist in internal and external audits as required.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to the Account Payables process.
  • Committed to meet all deadlines.
  • Liaise with external parties such as external Auditors, Suppliers and Company Secretary.
  • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
