Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Director in coordinating day-to-day project activities.
  • Follow up on project progress, material delivery, and site activities.
  • Coordinate with multi-discipline teams (Internally & Externally).
  • Manage project documents, drawings, technical submissions, and approval records.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, weekly reports, monthly reports, and project updates.
  • Communicate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure alignment.
  • Assist in resolving site issues and follow up on punch-list items.
  • Attend site coordination meetings, inspections, and progress verifications.
  • Support HSE / DOSH requirements and ensure work complies with safety standards.
  • Monitor the project schedule and highlight potential delays or risks.
  • Report issues to the Project Director and follow up on corrective actions.

Requirement

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Project Management.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant project coordination experience.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, with the ability to interpret and coordinate technical drawings.
  • Strong command of English and Malay, both spoken and written.
  • High proficiency in Mandarin with strong speaking and writing skills.
  • Candidates with study or work experience in China will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or industrial projects is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Willing to be stationed and work in Kuantan.
