Job Details and Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Experience:
2 to 5 years of working experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in a local engineering consultancy.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Engineers with more than 5 years of consultancy experience will be considered for the Senior Engineer
position.
- Design Expertise:
Proven experience in designing mechanical systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, and/or data center projects. - Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. - Professional Registration:
Registered as a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Systems Design:
Design mechanical systems, including Air Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Hot Water, Natural Gas (NG)/Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), and Building Management Systems (BMS). - Design Calculations:
Perform detailed calculations to justify and support design decisions. - Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities. - Tender Documentation:
Prepare tender documents and conduct tender evaluations. - Contract Administration:
Review contractor submissions for compliance with design specifications and drawings, prepare progress payment certificates, and assess variation works.
