Job Overview:

To coordinate and manage all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions of the Group. This role ensures that the company operates within legal frameworks, minimizes commercial risks, maintains regulatory certification and supports all departments (operations, sales, HR, finance) in managing contracts and compliance.

Key Responsibility:

  • Manage all corporate governance matters and Board documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating, drafting, review and negotiate commercial contracts (sales, supplier, distribution, logistics).
  • Assist to oversee regulatory and product compliance.
  • Providing support to ensure compliance with labour, safety and environmental laws across operations.
  • Support HR and Operations in maintaining labour rights compliance.
  • Advise management on dispute resolution, compliance investigations or regulatory inquiries.
  • Support and coordinate with external legal advisors.
  • Develop and implement internal legal and compliance policies, procedures and training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in legal, compliance, commercial and or corporate affairs roles.
  • Preferably experience in manufacturing and/ or export/import oriented industries.
  • Has a proactive personality with strong communication, negotiation and documentation skills.
  • Good understanding of international trade and commercial law.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and support teams at oversea branches and offices with different international time zone.
  • Willing to relocate and travel.
