Job Description

  • Manage court orders such as garnishee orders, injunction orders and winding up petition / orders.
  • Manage litigation suits against the Bank.
  • Provide legal advice / training to business units and branches.
  • Review and advise on commercial agreements.
  • Prepare and review agreements and terms and conditions related to the Bank's products and services.

Requirements

  • An LLB Degree from a recognised university.
  • Has been admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in legal practice in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal role.
  • Familiar with laws in relation to financial services and strong background in banking and/or civil litigation.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent drafting and vetting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good command of English and meticulous attention to detail.
