Our client is seeking an experienced
Senior Network Engineer
to join their team. The successful candidate will manage, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, switching, cabling, and security systems. This role requires deep expertise in
Cisco
and
Palo Alto
technologies, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Wi-Fi

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco WLCs and access points
  • Diagnose user speed and coverage issues
  • Monitor and manage alerts via Cisco Prime Infrastructure
  • Perform regular configuration backups and apply security patches

Switching

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco core, distribution, access, and ToR switches
  • Monitor and alert using Cisco Prime Infrastructure
  • Conduct periodic configuration backups and patching

Cabling

  • Identify and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling issues
  • Supervise cabling vendors during repair works

Network Security

  • Manage authentication and authorization for campus Wi-Fi, guest Wi-Fi, network equipment admin access, and remote VPN using Cisco ISE
  • Configure and maintain policies on Palo Alto and Cisco Firepower firewalls
  • Maintain ACLs on LAN devices
  • Perform regular configuration backups and security updates

Documentation

  • Maintain inventory and change documentation
  • Manage support cases and warranty claims
  • Create and update SOPs and technical guides for both end users and internal IT teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and critical-thinking skills
  • Fast learner with adaptability to new systems and technologies

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    or
    9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible hours)

Language Requirement:
English (Mandarin is an added advantage)
