Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Solar Maintenance Technician for on-site inspection, troubleshooting, and repair works at a large-scale solar power plant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. PV System Inspection

  • Conduct routine inspection of PV modules, structures, and cabling.
  • Perform thermal imaging,  string voltage checks, and insulation resistance tests.
  • Identify issues such as hot spots, connector failures, cable damage, shading, or grounding issues.

2. Corrective & Preventive Maintenance

  • Replace faulty modules, fuses, AC/DC breakers, connectors, and SPD.
  • Assist in inverter, combiner box, transformer, and switchgear maintenance.
  • Support control room with alarm validation.

3. Electrical & Site Work

  • Perform DC/AC termination, tightening, torque checks.
  • Maintain site housekeeping and safety.
  • Respond to emergency faults.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Submit daily maintenance reports.
  • Update checklists, photos, and test results.
  • Follow SOP, HSE, and PTW requirements.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
  • Physically fit for outdoor work
  • Experience in solar PV systems (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Technology or related field
  • Electrical certifications (A0/A1/A4, etc.)
