About the role

Medilove Clinic' is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring the company's financial activities are managed efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyses monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections
  3. Oversee the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities
  4. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to safeguard the company's assets
  5. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support the decision-making process of the senior management team
  6. Supervise and train the account team, promoting professional development and continuous improvement
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

  1. Qualified accountant (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  2. Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
  5. Experience in managing a team and fostering a collaborative work environment
  6. Thorough understanding of relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
  7. Proficient in using financial software and data analysis tools
