Mill Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor palm oil mill daily production yields (oil extraction rates & kernel extraction rates)

• Supervise and monitor team of supervisors, operators, and workers, ensuring timely delivery of all projects, maintenance, and daily work

• Ensures efficiency of milling operation and accuracy of information

• Ensure daily production targets are met

• Prepare monthly mill performance and engineering reports

• Assist in planning of budget, business strategy, and preventive maintenance schedule for mill

• Ensures all Standard Operation Procedures are followed at the mill

• Comply to all statutory requirements & regulations.

• Have active communication with management and update on mill performance.

• Monitors and coordinates project implementations

• Assist in mill upgrade works

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in any Engineering field.

• Steam Certificate (Grade 1 or 2) will be viewed positively.

• Knowledge in MSPO and any other palm oil related certification will be an added advantage.

• Must possess strong problem-solving skill, and ability to work under pressure.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Nibong Tebal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
