Project Planning & Implementation
- Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from pre-construction through completion and handover.
- Prepare and monitor project master schedules, feasibility studies, budgets, milestones and work programmes
- Coordinate procurement strategies and tender processes with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations
Design & Technical Coordination:
- Coordinate design deliverables with architects, engineers and relevant consultants to align with development objectives, cost targets and buildability.
- Conduct design reviews and lead value engineering exercises to optimize cost, quality and efficiency.
Construction Management & Quality Control:
- Oversee and monitor contractor and consultant performance to ensure adherence to schedule, specifications, quality and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections, technical meetings, and progress reviews to resolve construction related issues.
- Manage variations, extension of time (EOT) claims, and progress certifications in accordance with contract provisions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with authorities for development approvals, compliance, and site inspections.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders including management and JV partners, consultants, contractors and government agencies.
- Provide timely project progress reports, cost forecasts and risks assessments to management.
- Collaboration with HQ and other departments.
Risk, Cost & Sustainability Management:
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address delays, cost overruns or quality concerns.
- Monitor cost performance and initiate corrective actions to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Promote sustainability building practices and integrate green building considerations into project execution.
Incumbent:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Professional certification (e.g. Ir., Ar., PMP, RISM) is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in property development or construction project management, preferably in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
