We are hiring Senior Executive, Quality Resources to assist in driving the Hospital wide quality improvement, patient safety and risk management program to ensure compliance to regulations, continuing accreditation, improvement in processes, improved patient care outcomes and reduction of risk.

Job Responsibilities

A. Quality Management & Accreditation

  • Coordinate and conduct Internal Quality Audits (IQA) and ensure all internal audits are carried out in timely manner.
  • To undertake and provide assistance in any External Quality Audits (EQA) which may be scheduled by own department or other departments.
  • Assist stakeholders to establish, carry out new standards/accreditation awarded and ensure implementation by respective operation or clinical unit.
  • Manage accreditation activities and collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure accreditation requirements are met.
  • Coordinate and manage the data collection of Hospital clinical / quality indicators, and conduct required analysis on available data.
  • Assist to collate and report all Quality Performance Indicators (QPI), Balance Scorecard (BSC), Risk Management indicators, Malaysian Patient Safety Goals (MPSG), and MOH Bi-annual Statistical Summary (IR2A and IR2B), in a timely manner.

B. Document Control

  • Manages and coordinates the review and approval of Hospital Policies and Procedures (HOPs, SOPs and WIs) as per schedule to ensure they are updated and compliant to relevant statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that the Hospital Policies and Procedures (HOPs, SOPs and WIs) are reviewed and updated.
  • Ensures that request for creation and revision of forms are done accordingly, with assignment of orderly form controlled number.
  • Manages document control (including maintenance of policy and forms dashboard/masterlist) and ensure accessibility to all staff

C. Regulatory / Licensing

  • Assist to ensure all regulations and laws imposed to private hospitals be enforced through appropriate HOPs, Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act (PHFSA) 1998, Competition Act 2010, Personal Data Protection Act, Amendment to Medical Act 1971 and Medical Devices Act 2021 and etc.
  • Acts as a Liaison Officer between the Hospital and Ministry of Health i.e. Cawangan Kawalan Amalan Perubatan Swasta (CKAPS) pertaining to Hospital Licensing matters, while ensuring effective, timely management of information and communication at Hospital, and Group Level (where applicable).
  • Responsible to collate required documentation for application and renewal of Hospital License, to add and to expand Hospital facilities and services
  • Ensure all relevant regulatory license and relevant memberships e.g. MSQH, APHM are valid and maintained by respective departments.
  • To ensure careful, accurate and orderly records of all licensing application from initiation to completion.

D. Secretariat Roles

  • Making arrangements and providing necessary notices and services for meetings upon appointment as a Secretary for any Hospital Committee Meetings or Task Force.
  • Ensure required data and reports are prepared for presentation.
  • Ensure careful, accurate and orderly records of all Secretariat work e.g. minutes of meeting.

E. Other administrative duties

  • To manage stationary requisition as and when required.
  • To assist in the issuance of purchase requisition/petty cash forms/vouchers when necessary.
  • Perform any other duties, responsibilities, and assignments which may be delegated to you from time to time, in an efficient and responsible manner

Qualification & requirement

  • Degree holder or equivalent, in any related field.
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years healthcare industry experience, or in a related field
  • Proven experience in quality management, patient safety, and risk management within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
