Our work consistently revolves around the theme of Making, innovation and education. We are looking for individuals with a thirst for learning, to shape the future of Education through an innovative lens.

We are looking for an Innovation Officer who will be able to:

● Commit for a minimum of 1 year;

● Manage and execute our education programmes in Kuching;

● Encourage and influence the development of new learning opportunities among students outside the classroom;

● Work closely with parents, teachers and students to create and nurture a culture of innovation under our education programmes;

Who are we looking for?

1) Graduate of Information Technology, Education, Engineering or relevant field

2) Effective project team leader and strong ability to work effectively as part of a team

3) Must be willing to travel

4) Previous experience of working in education (if any)

5) Google-ing & investigative skills

6) Proficient in Google Apps

7) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (particularly in English)

8) Fast learner, self-driven, and "can-do" attitude

Working hours

Working hours are typically around 37 to 45 hours (5.5 working days) per week for full-timers

and 10-12 hours for part-timers. Hours are often flexible but some programmes require weekend work.

What to expect

● Most of our education programmes will be conducted in schools. Do expect a considerable amount of traveling.

● Much of the working day is spent in casual settings and but do dress accordingly.

Meetings with senior management may require a smart dress code.

● The work often requires sensitivity, creativity and determination to overcome barriers and to engage learners. Be prepared for setbacks before success is achieved.
