About the role

As a Structural Engineer at CRFG MALAYSIA BERHAD, you will play a vital role in the design and development of complex civil and structural engineering projects in Sabah. This full-time position will see you working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions that drive the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting structural analysis and design for a variety of projects, including buildings, bridges, and other civil infrastructure
  • Preparing detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Collaborating with architects, project managers, and construction teams to coordinate design efforts
  • Identifying and mitigating potential engineering challenges or risks
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Continuously staying updated with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in structural engineering, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry
  • Strong technical skills in design, project management, and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM software, and other engineering design tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficiency in the local language(s) and a good command of English
