Coming onboard as a PCN Coordinator (Product Change Notifications Coordinator), you will manage and controls all Product Change Notifications (PCNs) from suppliers and customers, ensuring proper assessment, communication, documentation, and implementation of changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, log, and review Product Change Notifications (PCN) from suppliers and customers.
- Perform initial impact assessment on materials, components, availability, cost, and product quality.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams to evaluate risks and implementation requirements.
- Track feedback from internal stakeholders and consolidate responses for customers.
- Liaise with customers to clarify PCN requirements, timelines, and action plans.
- Maintain PCN tracker, revision history, approval records, and related documentation.
- Ensure all PCN documents are properly filed, updated, and accessible per internal SOPs and ISO standards.
- Manage data entry into systems for approved PCN updates (BOM, specifications, AVL, etc.).
- Distribute PCN notifications to internal stakeholders and customers promptly.
- Provide status updates on PCN progress, pending actions, risks, and deadlines.
- Prepare weekly/monthly PCN dashboards and summary reports for management.
- Ensure approved PCNs are implemented according to schedule and customer requirements.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years' experience in EMS, electronics, supply chain, or quality role.
- Experience handling PCNs, ECOs, AVL changes, or component engineering is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of electronics components, BOM structure, and manufacturing processes.
- Good analytical skills for impact assessment.
- Excellent communication and coordination across multiple departments.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Able to manage multiple PCNs in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
