As a Videographer & Video Editor at BJAK, you'll take the lead in crafting powerful visual stories that inspire and engage audiences across platforms. You'll own the full creative process — from concept and shooting to editing and delivery — ensuring every video reflects BJAK's bold, data-driven, and human-centered brand voice.

This role is ideal for a hands-on creative with a strong eye for detail, deep technical skill, and a passion for producing cinematic, high-performing content in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Production

  • Lead planning, storyboarding, and execution of video content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu (XHS).
  • Develop and own creative concepts that enhance brand storytelling and drive engagement.
  • Set and uphold BJAK's visual identity, ensuring every piece of content aligns with our tone and style.
  • Produce diverse formats — from brand storytelling and product explainers to quick-turn social campaigns.

Post-Production Excellence

  • Execute and oversee professional-grade editing, including color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and subtitling.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and fast turnaround.
  • Establish and enforce editing standards and workflows to ensure visual consistency across all BJAK content.

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Partner closely with the Creative, Marketing, and Social Media teams to translate campaign ideas into compelling visuals.
  • Guide and mentor junior videographers or editors, offering constructive creative direction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, copywriters, and strategists for cohesive storytelling across channels.

Production & Workflow Management

  • Oversee the full production pipeline — from setup, lighting, and shooting to post-production and delivery.
  • Maintain a well-organized archive of raw footage, assets, and project files.
  • Troubleshoot technical and production challenges to ensure seamless execution.

Innovation & Trend Leadership

  • Stay current on video trends, emerging formats, and tools to keep BJAK's content fresh and competitive.
  • Experiment with new storytelling techniques and visual styles to enhance engagement and reach.
  • Continuously refine production workflows for better speed, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in videography, editing, and creative production (agency or in-house preferred).
  • Strong portfolio or showreel showcasing diverse storytelling styles.
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
  • Skilled in camera operations, lighting setups, and audio recording.
  • Deep understanding of social media video formats, algorithms, and optimization techniques.
  • Strong sense of composition, pacing, and narrative flow.
  • Able to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading small production teams or freelancers is a plus.
