Job Description

  • Develop compensation and benefits strategies aligned with business/market needs, provide strategic guidance to senior management, and ensure the effective implementation of compensation policies and benefits programs
  • Lead end-to-end Payroll processing for Malaysia and other assigned regions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local statutory requirements.
  • Lead and coach a team of payroll personnel to deliver operational excellence.
  • Prepare and review payroll reports for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of taxes, statutory contributions, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and drive necessary updates.
  • Review and enhance payroll processes, controls, and documentation. Identify opportunities for automation and lead payroll system enhancements.
  • Provide advisory support on compensation and payroll matters to HR and business teams.
  • Support budget planning and cost forecasting for payroll and headcount-related expenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of Compensation & Benefits experience, with at least a year in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia payroll legislation; regional experience is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
