Compensation & Benefits Lead - People Team

Job Description
- Develop compensation and benefits strategies aligned with business/market needs, provide strategic guidance to senior management, and ensure the effective implementation of compensation policies and benefits programs
- Lead end-to-end Payroll processing for Malaysia and other assigned regions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local statutory requirements.
- Lead and coach a team of payroll personnel to deliver operational excellence.
- Prepare and review payroll reports for internal and external audits.
- Ensure accurate reporting of taxes, statutory contributions, and other regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and drive necessary updates.
- Review and enhance payroll processes, controls, and documentation. Identify opportunities for automation and lead payroll system enhancements.
- Provide advisory support on compensation and payroll matters to HR and business teams.
- Support budget planning and cost forecasting for payroll and headcount-related expenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of Compensation & Benefits experience, with at least a year in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia payroll legislation; regional experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
