Internship (Safety and Heath Department)

Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. MFM has grown to become the leading flour miller in Malaysia with regional presence in Vietnam and Indonesia. Over the years, we have expanded into poultry integration, aquaculture, and raw material trading. In FY23, the group revenue was RM2.15 billion. 

MFM is one of the major poultry integrators in poultry feeds, breeding, farming with a state-of-the-art processing facility across the poultry value chain. Designed to meet the domestic and international markets, the advanced facility will process up to 300,000 birds per day.

To assist officer in implementing the OSH requirement especially in improvement program.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in safety project such as develop training and promotional materials for implementation of program.

2. Safety program development.

3. Assist in conducting hazard assessments for processes and equipment.

4. Inspect and evaluate workplace, equipment and practices for regulatory compliance.

5. Participate in accident investigations to identify causes and corrective actions.

6. Assist in design and implementation of workplace processess including engineering controls and procedures that help protect workers from potentially hazardous work condition.

Pursuing Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health / Environmental / Chemical / Process / Engineering or any related discipline.

Minimum internship duration 6 months.
