Project Technician – Special Projects

Job Summary:

The Project Technician will support the planning, execution, and maintenance of special projects within the F&B division. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, maintenance, or project implementation (preferably in F&B or manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of F&B equipment, safety standards, and hygiene regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment for special projects.
  • Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including equipment manuals, service logs, and project reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, hygiene regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in training staff on new equipment, processes, or technologies introduced through special projects.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new equipment or processes.

Preferred:

  • Experience with F&B process optimization or automation projects.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
